If there’s one group that’s continued to push the boundaries of Jewish music and redefine our understanding of the artistry that can be achieved with the human voice, it’s undoubtedly Six13. And now the ground-breaking Jewish a cappella group is turning heads once more with their latest release, Volume 5: BELIEVE, celebrating ten years of creating incredible music.
On this album, you can expect more of the quality Six13 has come to be known for — virtuosic singing, impeccable arrangements and tight harmonies, in-your-face thumping bass and vocal percussion, and infectiously danceable up-tempo tracks interspersed among heartfelt, moving ballads. But as always, the boys never settle for the "same old same old". The songwriting takes a decidedly dramatic turn on this record, with soulful, ethereal cuts like "Shema" and "Mah Rabu" true to the central theme of "EMUNAH" that will leave the listener with goosebumps. On the other end of the spectrum are comedic gems, both in the form of hilarious originals like "Chanukah Rights" and the group’s trademark pop parodies, like "Good Shabbos" and "Brei Brei Brei".
As if that weren’t enough, the guys manage to squeeze in to a power-packed track list their own unique spins on the hottest tunes in Jewish music today, joined by some of the hottest artists in Jewish music today. The Maccabeats join in with their mentors (and their original producer, Six13′s Mike Boxer) on "Ki Malachov" and "Mi Shema’amin" — and the lead vocals for "Yesh Tikvah" are provided by none other than the inimitable Benny Friedman.
This one’s got something for everyone. The Six13 boys still insist that they make music to be enjoyed 365 days a year, but whether or not you’re in the need for something for sefirah, this is shaping up as the album of the year. Don’t skip "BELIEVE" over.
Pesach at the Thrift Shop
March 21, 2013
Getting ready for Passover? So are we. We're excited to debut Pesach Shop, our most… interesting video to date. Starting at the "Thrift Shop", Six13 takes you through the musical ages as wesing and rap their way through three tried-and-true Passover rituals: cleaning out chametz, making matzah brei, and… avoiding bread. You might recognize some of the grooves we've borrowed. Click the link to the video below. CHAG SAMEACH!

Haneirot Halalu -- featuring the International Six13 Fan Choir!
November 30, 2012
We've been composing, performing and recording original Jewish music for years — but this song is truly special, because we did it not just FOR you, but WITH you.
Odds are pretty good that someone you know is in this one! We invited our friends and fans from all over the world to join us in song, to help us celebrate the Festival of Lights and wish everyone a Happy Chanukah. We really love the results and we hope you do too!
This is probably our best thing ever — and certainly our favorite. Six13 is proud to present HANEIROT HALALU.
Special thanks to our incredible, talented and good-looking guest stars! You did such a great job!
Sandy Victims Benefit
November 11, 2012
The last couple of weeks have been interesting, to put it mildly. Tragedy struck right here in our own hometown as Hurricane Sandy left much of the East Coast in ruins or disarray. Now, people are in dire need of your help.
Congregation Ramath Orah in New York City is holding a benefit concert for hurricane victims at 7:30 p.m. next Saturday, November 17, featuring Six13 and other local groups.
If you can make it, please come by and help support those in need!
Be a GUEST STAR in our new video!
October 30, 2012
We've said it before, and we'll say it again: WE LOVE OUR FANS. We love making music and we love singing it for you. But this time, we want to sing WITH you.
So, to celebrate Chanukah this year, we're trying something totally different: we're inviting each and every one of you to be a guest star, both on the music track and in the video!
This is not a competition or a contest — everyone who submits will be included. The more, the better! And, you don't even have to leave your house to do it. Just grab a video camera or webcam and click this link to get all the details.
We can't wait to sing with you!
Shema: A New Song For The New Year
September 12, 2012
Hard to believe, but it's that time of year again. We thought we'd usher it in with something a little different. We're excited to premiere our newest original song, Shema, and we put the mics away and sat down at Congregation Shaare Zedek in New York City to record a live, unplugged performance.
You can download both the live version and the studio version on iTunes.
We hope this helps you get into the high holiday mode. Shana tova and g'mar chatima tova to all of our amazing fans, friends and family around the world!

New video: "Good Shabbos"
March 14, 2012
It's a Six13 Shabbat, and you're invited!
We figured the world had enough Purim, Passover and Chanukah tunes and videos — so why not one for the most important day of all?
We've borrowed the infectious grooves of Flo Rida and Rihanna for our new Shabbat anthem, and we hope this adds to your Shabbat excitement. The new track is also available on iTunes!
Traveling the world in 2012!

The big time
December 16, 2011
December is full of high-profile appearances for Six13! We'll be stopping by to perform for over 5,000 attendees at the URJ Biennial in Washington D.C., and then making our way to Philadelphia for a concert in front of 1,000 screaming teens at USY Convention. We can't wait!
Fighting for Chanukah Rights!
December 5, 2011
Are you tired of Chanukah being forgotten and mistreated by the mainstream media? Well, so is Six13. And we've had just about enough.
Please join us, our friends, and a colorful array of special "celebrity guests" for a "We Are The World"-style unity anthem, as we sing our hearts out for the Festival of Lights, to raise awareness for this very important issue, with a little "Occupy Wall Street" flavor.
And don't forget to spread the word. Send the link to friends and family, post it to Facebook and tweet it far and wide! Let's FIGHT FOR CHANUKAH RIGHTS and show the world we care!
November 21, 2011
Please join us at Congregation Shaare Zedek on Saturday December 3rd, as we sing to raise funds for the Southern Tier area of New York State, where a number of the Six13 guys went to college and which was ravaged by flood damage this fall. Admission to the event is FREE, but we encourage all to give what they can — even one dollar helps! Make sure to reserve your seats online as there may not be tickets available at the door!
One Mitzvah At A Time...
November 15, 2011
We're pleased to announce our newest single! A "Bar Mitzvah anthem" of sorts, "One Mitzvah At A Time" was written for "Mitzvahs of the Main Line," a reality show whose pilot is currently in development, as its theme song. You can check out the show at http://www.facebook.com/MitzvahsOfTheMainLine — they're currently casting families for the pilot!
September 26, 2011
Our trip to Eretz Yisrael was everything we dreamed it would be and more. It was truly a blessing for us to mark the milestone of doing this thing we love in the most beautiful of all places for it. Special thanks and mazel tov to our simcha family in Tel Aviv for making this possible, to Rabbi Konstantin and the Tel Aviv Synagogue for allowing us the unforgettable experience of leading davening in harmony in the Holy Land, and to AACI for putting together an incredible concert in Jerusalem. We enjoyed meeting all our new friends and hope to be back soon!
Welcome Dan and Noah!
September 1, 2011
Six13 is excited to announce its newest members, Noah Aronson (tenor) and Dan Singer (bass). They're both fantastic guys and even better musicians with very impressive pedigrees in Jewish music. You can read all about them on our members page!
Moshe Cohn and Justin Rosenblum are incredible individuals and performers that will be sorely missed. This group could never have become what it is today without either of them. They've both got great things on the horizon and we wish them all the best! Although, you never know — you might just see them on stage with Six13 from time to time…
What a summer!
August 14, 2011
We've had a blast the past few months. We're riding high off of the success of our new CD, and it's been an honor to share the new stuff far and wide with old and new fans. Special thanks to our hosts in Long Branch, San Antonio, White Plains, Riverdale, Bedford Hills, East Meadow and the rockin' Camp Laurelwood!
Next stop: New Jersey's Rejoice Festival, and… ISRAEL!! We'll be touring the Holy Land September 22-25 and still have availability during those days. Know anyone who'd like to bring us in for a performance? Please have them contact us at email@example.com. Yerushalayim here we come!
CD Release Concert in NYC
April 14, 2011
Come on out to ROC House Saturday night for a fantastic show! We're celebrating the release of our new CD, ZMANIM, with special guests, Yeshiva University's Y-Studs. We've been working hard on this concert and it's going to be a great show — we'll be performing all the new Six13 tunes from the CD, which will be available for the very first time at this concert!
New Six13 PASSOVER Music Video!
April 11, 2011
Six13 proudly presents "P-A-S-S-O-V-E-R"! Here's hoping this makes your Pesach cleaning just a little bit more bearable. Please help us out — post this, tweet this, send this to everyone you know! CHAG KASHER V'SAMEACH!
Six13 Volume 4 is coming!
April 1, 2011
We're really excited about our new CD coming out in just two weeks! We think it's by far our best yet. This one's a bit of a departure from the formula of our first three. We've got some new original material we hope you're going to love, but this time we also recorded quite a few more cover tunes — some of our favorite songs by other artists that we love to sing on Shabbat gigs — in the form of four epic medleys. Then, we invited some of our Jewish music celebrity friends to sing with us. Zmanim features guest appearances on lead vocals from 8th Day, Yitzy Spinner, Aryeh Kunstler, Pey Dalid and Jewish Star junior finalist Shmuly Brafman. And of course, we're up to our old hijinks again with a new parody, and we had a blast filming the video for it. We're very excited for that premiere. Zmanim is without a doubt our most ambitious project to date, and we can't wait for you to hear it!
Catch Six13 live!
February 1, 2011
Ever been to a Six13 concert? Several chances for you to see a live Six13 performance in the coming months at events that are open to the public, including the Boston Jewish Music Festival in Waltham, MA, JPAF at Columbia University, Yeshiva University's Seforim Sale and the New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes. Check out our concerts page for information — we can't wait to see you at a show!
Brand new Chanukah MUSIC VIDEO!
December 10, 2010
Six13 is back with a new medley of Jewish a cappella pop parodies, presented by the National Conference of Synagogue Youth — three tunes about the Festival of Lights, just in the nick of time for Chanukah!
"Dreidel" (Justin Bieber's "Baby")
"Latkes" (Kanye West's "Heartless")
"I Light It" (Enrique Iglesias's "I Like It")
But that's not all! Six13 teamed up with an enthusiastic bunch of NCSY-ers and an eclectic mix of New Yorkers, and took to the streets for a high-energy music video!
Click the link to see what all the commotion is about! And don't forget to share the joy — send the link to your friends and family, post it on Facebook and tweet it. All Six13 really wants for Chanukah this year is to go viral. Help us out!
Making the rounds on the East Coast
November 20, 2010
Special shout-outs and thanks to our hosts at our recent gigs, including Whippany, Monticello, White Plains, Yonkers, Manhattan, Silver Spring and Philadelphia (especially the Rodeph a cappella group — you guys are great and we loved working with you!). Coming up: AcapaJewza V at 92Y on the Upper East Side of Manhattan — always a blast! Click the link for info; we hope to see you there!
New York Mets: Take 5
August 29, 2010
Catch us today as we perform at for the fifth year in a row (three times at Shea Stadium and twice now at Citi Field) at the New York Mets' Jewish Heritage Day. We'll open the afternoon with a concert before the game, and return to the field during the 7th inning for "Gd Bless America". See you there!
Far and wide
May 30, 2010
Hello from the Great White North! Our concert for the Annual JNF Gala in Edmonton, Canada sets a new record for travel distance to a gig. With such a fantastic city and even more fantastic people, it's been well worth the trip! Thanks for taking such great care of us.
March 1, 2010
Since last mentioned here (in May of '09), Six13's newest album Yesh Chadash has garnered more praise. Im Eshkachech was chosen for the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America's SING VI compilation, the Recorded A Cappella Review Board named it one of its Top Picks of '09, and hosts Dave Brown and Christopher Diaz raved about it on the 6/21/09 episode of Mouth Off, their hit a cappella podcast. We were pretty humbled by what they had to say. Tune in and check it out!
Spike Lee looked like he was enjoying it
February 9, 2010
It may not be a proud time to be a Knicks fan, but we were very proud to take center court as they welcomed (and lost in overtime to) Israeli sensation Omri Casspi and the Sacramento Kings on Jewish Heritage Night at Madison Square Garden. We performed both the U.S. and Israeli national anthems — a true honor! Footage of the performance was aired on the Israeli National News, and photos of us were picked up by the Associated Press.
Doing our part
January 28, 2010
The devastation in Haiti has been unspeakable, and it's incumbent upon us all to come to their aid in any way we can. Six13 joined with a veritable "who's who" of Jewish music — Neshama Carlebach, Pharoah's Daughter, Soulfarm, Zalman Mlotek, members of the Klezmatics, and dozens more — in the "Jewish Artists For Haiti" concert at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in Manhattan. The event raised over $50,000 — but they still need your help. Donate today!
The most wonderful time of the year?
December 30, 2009
December kept us busier than we can remember any month being. We peformed at an OHEL benefit in Brooklyn, the United Synagogue's Biennial Convention in Philadelphia, the always-elaborate AcapaJewza in Manhattan, Chabad's "Chanukah On Ice" in Central Park, and ALMOST at Stern High School in Philadelphia (but the weather had other plans). We'll be taking a raincheck on that one, and returning on February 7th.
We know what it means to miss New Orleans
November 21, 2009
We've been to lots of different places in our travels, but few communities left the impression on us that the people of Congregation Shir Chadash and Metairie, LA did. This community, literally blown apart just a few years ago, has been in the news a great deal. But we were given the opportunity to find out first-hand that it's not Katrina, or even their resilience in her wake, which characterizes them — rather, it's their unmatched and unwavering spirit, warmth and hospitality. Not to mention their cooking. We're so grateful to Metairie for bringing us down and showing us the true meaning of community. New Orleans is quite a town and everyone should visit!
New stadium, same awesome gig
August 16, 2009
It seems that Six13 may have become the New York Mets' official Jewish performing group. The guys made a return appearance — their fourth — performing at Jewish Heritage Day in Queens, this time at Citi Field. Shea Stadium's always been great, but there's nothing like that "new ballpark smell"!
We love a parade
May 31, 2009
Six13 was proud to return as a performer in the Salute To Israel Parade this year, aboard the Bunk1.com float. The energy in the air up Fifth Avenue is electric! Special thanks to Milt Kaplan, Fred Schuchman and Ari Ackerman of Bunk1. Former, present and future campgoers should definitely check their site out!
Awards pour in for album #3
May 25, 2009
The critical acclaim has already begun for "Yesh Chadash"! Some great blog reviews, raves and a 4.7 out of 5 on the Recorded A Cappella Review Board, selection to the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America's SING 6 compilation, a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award nomination for Best Religious Album, and a win for "Ne'ilah" for Best Humor Song are now sitting above the Six13 fireplace…
On the radio
May 5, 2009
Thanks to Nachum Segal for having us on "Jewish Moments In The Morning" (JM in the AM) this morning! We performed a few songs live on the air, played a few cuts from the new CD, and chatted it up a bit with the king of Jewish radio himself. Nachum is a stand-up guy and we'll never understand how he has so much energy that early in the morning every single weekday. We had a blast!
February 28, 2009
There's certainly some good company for Six13 in the Jewish a cappella world! Great performances by the Ramaz Chamber Choir and the YU Maccabeats and a reunion from Beat'achon highlighted a fantastic event. Special thanks to Dave Matkowsky and 92Y.
February 12, 2009
"D'ror Yikra" has been selected Ruach 5769, Transcontinental Music's bi-annual collection of the best in new Jewish contemporary tunes. ("Home" appeared on Ruach 5767.) Thanks, Transcon!
Yesh Chadash arrives!
December 20, 2008
It's here! Six13's newest album, "Yesh Chadash", is available from on iTunes, at oySongs.com, Sameach Music and everywhere Jewish music is sold. The group that turned the world of Jewish music on its ear with its groundbreaking style of hard-hitting acappella presents, true to the album's title, their best and most unique recording yet. The boys of Six13 are raising the bar yet again. You'll have a tough time believing these sounds came out of just six guys' voices, and unforgettable original tunes and toe-tapping new takes on a couple of classics will earn this CD a spot in your list of favorites. With this release, a cappella is officially not just for Sefirah anymore! Thanks to everyone who came and made the release party at ROC House such a huge success.
Another one bites the dust
November 15, 2008
Mazel Tov to Six13's Mike Boxer and his beautiful wife Shira who were married today! Six13 and friends, of course, performed at the chupah.
Album #3 is underway
September 1, 2008
Six13 is back in the studio! The boys have begun work on their third album, which is already shaping up to be the best yet by far. The album is slated for release this Chanukah! Why wait for sefirah when this is music you can groove to all year round?
Third tour of duty at Shea
July 4, 2008
A first for any performing group, Six13 has been invited to perform at the New York Mets' Jewish Heritage Day a third (consecutive) time. The group is excited to take the field on August 24 for the final Jewish Heritage Day at Shea Stadium before it closes forever!
Crossing the border
May 25, 2008
We couldn't have hand-picked a better audience and community for our first Canadian concert. Thank you to Holy Blossom Temple in Toronto, the inimitable Cantor Beny Maissner, and Lesley Miller and staff for a wonderful experience! We can't wait to come back.
Another official city function
April 30, 2008
Six13 performed for honorees, dignitaries and elected officials at Brooklyn Borough Hall for the official Israeli Heritage Day commemoration. Congratulations to the honorees! Special thanks to Bella Vais and Nick Fox.
April 24, 2008
Thanks to Jerry Abramson and MatzaFun Tours for bringing us down to the Ocean Place Resort to perform. The audience reception was great!
The family grows!
April 12, 2008
Mazel Tov to Moshe and Yafit Cohn and their daughter Reuit, who welcomed little brother Adeev!
Taking home still more awards
April 1, 2008
The 2008 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards were announced and Six13 was once again on the list! Their second album, Encore, won runner-up for Best Religious Album, and "D'ror Yikra" won Best Religious Song.
Taking home more awards
March 22, 2008
Six13 competed in the 2008 New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes and was awarded Best Original Song for "Al Hanissim", with music by Mike Boxer. Congratulations to Red No. 5 who won and went on to the finals in San Francisco!
A cappella central
March 8, 2008
We had a fantastic time at the East Coast A Cappella Summit in Reston, VA. It was an honor to be invited to perform, and the other groups who took the stage were incredible as well as lots of fun to hang with. Special thanks to Rabbi Herzfeld, the Sacks and the Milners for their hospitality!
March 1, 2008
The group joined a great lineup of local Jewish a cappella flavor at Manhattan's Highline Ballroom for Acapajewza 2008. The event was a huge success! Thanks to Pizmon, Tizmoret, Ramaz and Flatbush for delivering fantastic performances.
Go West, young men
February 2, 2008
We'd like to thank Rabbi Israel Becker and the Jewish community of Tucson, Arizona, both for their unmatched hospitality and their warm reception of our performance. We really enjoyed it and hope to be back out there soon!
Taking home awards
January 5, 2008
The Recorded A Cappella Review Board has chosen Six13's ENCORE as one of its Picks of 2007, its highest honor. "Creating religious music that you can dance to made this one of the most entertaining discs that I've heard in years," reviewer Thomas King raved.
It's what Jews do on Xmas Eve
December 24, 2007
Looking for something to do tonight? Six13 takes the stage at B.B. King's Blues Club in Times Square tonight. Also in the lineup are Jewish rock powerhouses Blue Fringe and Heedoosh.
Tune in to Six13
December 9, 2007
Where better for the new lineup of Six13 to make its debut than on television? Six13 will be performing live on the annual East Coast Chabad Telethon tonight at 9 p.m. on Long Island Channel 55, singing the Chanukah blessings as the menorah is lit and the hit from their second album, "Al Hanissim".
An era ends
November 1, 2007
Hanging up his blazer is family-man Shlomo Ressler, one of the original Six13 members. We miss him already! Joining the team is the talented Josh Mohrer. We wish Shlomo, Jess and that cute kid(S?) well! Read more about Josh on his member bio.
Going to the source
September 4, 2007
Israeli band HaMakor is in the United States for a limited three-week engagement, and will be opening for Six13 at Manhattan's Fat Baby tonight. Come by and check out two great — very different — Jewish bands!
Return to Shea
August 26, 2007
The Jewish Community Relations Committee took a raincheck from Six13 — literally — and brough them back to finish what they started. The boys performed a concert on the field before the game, and returned during the seventh inning stretch for the honor of singing G-d Bless America, as the Mets took on the Dodgers in front of over 40,000. The skies were clear.
What a reception!
July 10, 2007
We've never met a crowd as enthusiastic, receptive and appreciative as the participants at the 18th annual North American Jewish Choral Festival. It was an honor to be asked to perform in the marquee concert spot, but not as much as getting such great compliments from an audience full of professional Jewish musicians, cantors, singers and enthusiasts. Thank you for everything!
All good things must come to an end
June 20, 2007
We bid adieu this week to founding members Avi Ishofsky and Stuart Mayer. The group most certainly won't be the same without them, but we're extremely excited to welcome aboard the fantastically talented Justin Rosenblum and Yan Frenkel. You can read more about Yan and Justin in their bios.
Events around town
June 18, 2007
Fundraising dinners seem to be the theme of the month for Six13. The group was the featured entertainment at the Jewish Center of Manhattan's Tribute Dinner and the Carlebach Shul's Annual Dinner. Clearly, the group is a great addition to events like these. Give us a call at (888) BOOK-613 to find out how we can fit into yours.
Six13 on Parade
May 6, 2007
If you were one of the hundreds of thousands of spectators that lined up along Fifth Avenue to watch New York City's Salute To Israel Parade, you heard the sounds of Six13. The group performed their original songs live as they cruised down the parade route atop the Bronxwood float.
Chanukah with the Mayor
December 20, 2006
Six13 performed at Mayor Michael Bloomberg's official Chanukah party at the Brooklyn Jewish Children's Museum. The group took the stage for an hour, entertaining guests and dignitaries, accompanied the candlelighting by Yeshiva University president and former Hillel International Director Richard Joel, and posed for a shot with Mayor Mike himself. Check out the picture in our photos section!
More big things ahead
November 28, 2006
Six13 is excited to be peforming at a private event in Oakland, CA and in Texas at the Greater Jewish Federation of Houston's Yom Limmud over the coming year! The group will culminate this Day of Learning with a concert on Sunday afternoon. The group is also being courted by several HUGE-scale events both locally and around the nation which we're not yet at liberty to let the cat out of the bag on — but keep an ear out for some exciting announcements in the coming weeks. If anything, evidence that Six13's booking up very heavily and quite far in advance — so no matter where you're located, don't procrastinate; call about your simcha or event today!
We won't stop 'til we're on every CD
October 19, 2006
"L'cha Dodi" will make an appearance on two more "best-of" compilations. Moment Magazine will feature a Jewish music CD along with its December issue, and the song has been chosen to be part of it. Look out for the CD this winter, along with two high-profile spots in the magazine itself. Meanwhile, Transcontinental Music has chosen "Home" for Ruach 5767, its bi-annual collection of the best in new Jewish contemporary tunes.
Who needs actual game play?
August 28, 2006
The sky was overcast from the moment the sun came up, and most predicted a rain-out. They were right; the game was cancelled due to inclement weather — but not Six13's pre-game performance! The downpour held up just long enough for Six13 to take the field and perform "L'cha Dodi" and "Home" in front of a still-impressive crowd of about 25,000. The Mets organization was impressed, and having to take a rain-check on the group's seventh-inning-stretch "G-d Bless America" for obvious reasons, is tossing around dates to bring the group back to Shea next year. Anyone who bought tickets to the game can call (718) 807-TIXX for an exchange or refund.
This time, it's on home turf
July 23, 2006
Seems the Mets liked us so much, they want us for their own Jewish Heritage commemoration. At the Mets vs. Philadelphia game at Shea Stadium on August 27, Jewish Heritage Day, Six13 will perform a mini-concert of songs from their album before the game at approximately 12:15 p.m., and return to the field for "G-d Bless America" during the seventh inning stretch. (Game time is 1:10 p.m.) We can't wait. You can purchase your tickets here!
Another sold-out Makor show
June 16, 2006
With Makor closing its doors sometime later this year, this may have been Six13's last show at one of their favorite venues. If so, it was a great way to go out — thanks to all who attended and made the show a great success! Aside from being a capacity crowd, you were one of the best audiences the group's ever had the privelege to perform for.
Miami trip: Amazin'
May 30, 2006
Floridian hospitality is second to none! The trip to Miami was a great one — not just on account of the fun in the sun, but two fantastic appearances in the area. The Marlins organization was especially good to the group, who pulled off a strong appearance despite being starstruck by not just any "real live" major leaguers, but a number of the guys' hometown favorites, the New York Mets, who were in town to take on the Fish and just a stone's throw from the guys. In El Duque's first start as a Met, they proved victorious, as did Jewish Heritage Day, which pulled in close to 30,000 fans on a steamy summer afternoon. Special thanks to Roni of the Shalom South Florida radio program for setting it all up AND having us on his show, and to Jason Schulman and Young Israel of Hollywood, who sponsored a concert that night that was just as enjoyable. Pictures will be up soon.
The family grows
May 28, 2006
Mazel Tov to the newest parents in Six13, Moshe and Yafit Cohn, who welcomed their daughter Reiut today!

Florida Marlins tap Six13 for Jewish Heritage Day
April 9, 2006
The group will be traveling to Miami, FL where they will perform at Dolphin (formerly Joe Robbie) Stadium as part of the Florida Marlins' Jewish Heritage Day. The boys will take the field in front of an estimated 20,000 fans when the team plays the Mets, creating quite a conflict of interest for the New Yorkers (except for Mike, the lone, diehard Yankee fan of the bunch).

Expanding our geographical horizons
December 27, 2005
Happy Chanukah! Lately, the boys have been diversifying things a bit geographically, with gigs not only right in their own backyards (Great Neck, Riverdale) but around the country (Boston, Providence and recently adding an upcoming show in Dallas). If you'd like to add to that list, give them a call — wherever you may be.

A best seller
June 10, 2005
Six13's cracked the Top 20! The album came out at number 17 on Country Yossi Magazine's list of best-sellers from 4/20/05 to 5/20/05, our debut month — the top spot for any a cappella album, and one of only two new releases on the chart. Thank you all so much for your support!
Six13 kicks off Israel rally
June 6, 2005
It was a real thrill leading off in the Israel Day Concert in Central Park! Six13 performed Home, the Star-Spangled Banner and debuted our new arrangement of Hatikvah, which got the "true a cappella treatment" when the power went out. What a pleasure to share the stage with such great artists and be a part of the day's events.
May 22, 2005
Thanks to all who purchased our album! The CD has sold out in stores across the country. We'll be getting more copies out there soon.
On the radio
May 15, 2005
Tune in via internet to "The Schmooze" with Yosef Dov and Avi Fertig on Five Towns Radio this Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. for an exclusive chat with the guys from Six13. The boys talk about the origins of the group, the making of the album and plenty of other interesting inside information. Plus: live, in-studio performances of songs from the new CD, and Yosef Dov also spins a few tracks from the album. SIx13 had a fantastic time over at FTR and hope you'll tune in to hear the end result!
